The Cornerstone Programme
Who: The programme is open for anyone who would like to progress in Christian life and understanding, and would normally be followed in the context of the life of a church family, whether at Adeyfield Free Church or elsewhere.
It is specially designed to help new believers get to grips with the Christian faith.
What is it:

It’s a Biblically-based, mentor-led, one-to-one programme of 3 modules, each “stand-alone” and each consisting of 10 sessions. These are arranged by mutual agreement between the mentor and the “mentee”, to suit both parties. The programme is followed for as long as it is felt useful and enjoyable, up to a maximum of all three modules.
The basic module is No. 1, which introduces the Bible via its account of the life of Jesus, with lots of discussion of the story told. The matters of prayer and of Christian service to others are also covered, in a user-friendly, hands-on and practical way.
As the sessions are confidential in atmosphere, doubts/questions can be raised, and dealt with
by the mentor, a mature Christian of the same sex who helps resolve any difficulties faced.
Where&when:  By mutual agreement.
